Our client is searching for an Assistant Commercial Accountant to assist in providing financial and KPI analysis to the business, investigating trends and discrepancies as appropriate. You will be required to:

Ø Produce and issue daily and weekly financial and KPI reports, investigating discrepancies as required;
Ø Assist in the production of periodic financial reporting, including interpretation of the income and customer KPIs in particular;
Ø Assist in the production of annual plan and periodic forecast models;
Ø Assist in the identification and establishment of KPIs throughout the organisation integrating these KPIs where appropriate into financial projection models;
Ø Assist in the production of competitor analysis and comparisons on profitability and other KPIs;

Qualifications, skills & experience

The jobholder should be a part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA) with strong computer skills. You should have a curious nature and the ability to analyse large amounts of data and draw out conclusions. Previous experience in a similar role in a commercial organisation would be advantageous. Good communication (verbal/written) skills are essential as is a very strong working knowledge of excel, database packages and computerised accounting packages such as JDE

Salary is £25-£28k
